The German fighter Fokker E.V ( D.VIII) is one of the best aircraft created during the Great War. An aircraft was taken from the German by Lieutenant Stefan Stec (7th Fighter Squadron) and for the first time painted the symbols of white and red checkers, which since December 1918 became the colours of Polish aviation. In addition, he received his first air victory in Polish aviation, which ushered in the glorious history of Polish pilots.
