The Audi 90 is a German middle-class passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1984. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 1994. Production was concentrated in the plants of Audi AG in Ingolstadt, Germany.
Model 90 was developed and put into production in order to complement the company's commercial offer and its strengthening in the segment of middle class cars. In essence, the Audi 90 is a development of the Audi 80, which is very similar to its predecessor in terms of design and many components used. However, it differs much richer basic and additional equipment, it is also more luxurious and has better performance. It is also characterized by a lower failure rate. In total, there were two generations of Audi 90 with the designations B2 and B3. A variant of the B4 was also created, but it was only offered in the North American market from 1993 to 1995. All Audi 90s were offered exclusively as 4-door sedans, with engines ranging from 1.6 to 2.3 liters as the propulsion. The model was replaced in the company's offer by the Audi A5.
