This weathered relic of World War II Britain makes a fascinating landmark for any Hornby model railway scenery. This Hornby R8787 Pill Box (00 guage) looks just like the thousands of stone structures that were placed around the country as part of anti-invasion measures.
Whilst they were never used for their intended worst case scenario purpose, around 6,500 of these structures are still around today. This model pill box is beautifully detailed, featuring aged stone effects around the exterior to reflect its worn and weather-beaten condition.
