Norev # 185251 1/18 Renault Clio 16S 1991 White
In 1991, Renault launches the Clio16S, a sporty derivative of the normal Renault Clio. With a 16-valve engine, this time without a turbo, the car was tuned for an excellent road handling behaviour. The "16s" was the car that kept Renault in the market of « hot hatches », in competition with the Peugeot 205 GTI and the Volkswagen Golf 2 GTI. With Jean Ragnotti behind the wheel, in particular, the Clio16s entered the French Rally Championship in Group A.
Our reproduction is that of the phase I, painted in glacier white. The model has the following 4 openings: hood, 2 side doors and tailgate.
