Tamiya # 61042 1/48 SCALE NORTH AMERICAN P-51B MUSTANG

Easily the finest Corsair kit that's ever been produced. Flaps are fixed down, canopy can be open or closed. Can be built as standard –1 version, or radar-equipped –2. Two choices of canopy types. Includes bombs and drop tanks.

  • Approximately 60 parts in medium grey and clear with fine recessed panel lines.
  • Highly detailed cockpit with accurate instrument panel, bulkheads, and sculpted pilot figure.
  • 2 styles of exhaust stubs, optional position flaps, rockets and bombs.

This plastic kitset requires assembly, paints and glue to complete.

This kit depicts the B-variant of the legendary P-51 Mustang, which differed from the later P-51D in several important ways, including the "Razorback"-style fuselage. Parts are included for two 500lb bombs, two drop tanks, and one pilot figure. Three marking options are also included.
