Tamiya #78028 1/350 U.S Battleship BB-62 "New Jersey" with Detail Set Projecting American Military Power into the 20th Century
Originally built to combat other battleships like the Japanese Yamato, the New Jersey was retired in 1948 but was reactivated three times, serving in Korea, Vietnam, and Lebanon. Tamiya's exquisite 1/350 scale model kit depicts this veteran battleship in modernized form, with such features as Harpoon missile launchers, Phalanx close-in defense systems, chaff dispensers, and two SH-60B helicopters. Special display base and beautifully crafted nameplate also included.
