Tamiya # 95173 TRAIL MINI 4WD KUMAMON VERSION (15TH ANNIVERSARY)
This special Mini 4WD car assembly kit commemorates the 15th anniversary of Kumamoto Prefecture official character Kumamon’s birth, with a UTV style body based upon that of the Fun-Vroom and a Kumamon-inspired black and red color scheme. The Kumamon driver figure comes assembled and pre-painted, while the 4-wheel drive EZ chassis has a central double-shaft motor and requires no cement or screws.
EZ Chassis
The EZ chassis is assembled simply by snapping and fitting parts together, and runs on one R6/AA/UM3 battery. Gears are placed into the chassis frame with a motor on top, and then the cover is snapped into place; chassis parts are tinted plastic to let you see what is happening inside. Red 5-spoke wheels are paired with grippy off-road tires and the model's 50:1 gear ratio ensures that it runs at a manageable speed and has great torque for a powerful drive.
