The Atlas Master N Scale ACF 89' 4" Intermodal Flatcar is based on late 1960s and 1970s prototypes used for intermodal piggyback service across the continent. This car is patterned after the 1973 version that was originally designed to carry two trailers or combinations with containers. In the 1980s many were modified to carry three short package trailers or a single longer trailer. This model features accurate details, separate brake rigging details, realistic hitch details; appropriate trucks with free-rolling metal wheelsets, fine paint, crisp lettering and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
