SSolido #S1801115 1/18 1973 Porsche 911 RSR-Gulf
For some years, Solido has developed different variants of the Porsche 911 RSR 2.8 with many decorations. This successful model receives a new legendary livery, which appeared on certain racing Porsches: the colors of the Gulf tanker.
The Porsche 911 Carrera RSR is an ultra-sporty model developed for the circuit, lightened and powered by a 2.8-litre 290 hp engine in 1973. This is the racing version of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 which only develops “ that” 210 hp, a very sporty car for its time.
Only 50 models were delivered to racing teams in order to participate in major automobile competitions such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 1,000 km of Nürburgring and the 1,000 km of Spa-Francorchamps. Some models have managed to stand out for their agility and power.
Today, the Porsche 911 RSR is again in the spotlight in endurance racing with a modern and even more powerful version. The three letters RSR are synonymous with sportsmanship and circuit victories.

Solido has thus reproduced the Recaro seats as well as the counters of the dashboard whose entourage is blue, extending over the entire width of the interior. The steering wheel is functional, allowing the front wheels to be turned.
The exterior is distinguished by its superb Gulf blue color with orange stripes running along the entire length of the car and on the sills as well as the front and rear bumpers. Note the personalized « Gulf 1 » plate!
