The M1070 Tractor and M1000 trailer are used in the US Army as a tank transport vehicle. Together, the Tractor and Trailer, is called HETS (Heavy Equipment Transport System).
M1070 started production in 1992 by Oshkosh. It was deployed in the US military in 1993 and its main primary use is for transporting M1 Abrams tanks. In addition, it is also used for transporting large vehicles such as, Armored Military Transport Vehicles, Self-Propelled Guns and Bulldozers.
